You can spend up to $2,500 per calendar day with your Varo Bank debit card in purchases or cash back at point of sale.
You can also use your card to get cash. If you withdraw from an ATM, the maximum amount you can withdraw is $1,000 per calendar day.
Another way to get cash is through an “Over the Counter” cash withdrawal, available at most major banks and credit unions. We recommend you call a local branch to see if they offer this service. Be sure to bring your Varo Bank debit card and a valid government issued ID and request to withdraw cash from the teller. You can get up to $1,000 per calendar day with an over-the-counter withdrawal.
Whether you withdraw from an ATM, get cash from a point of sale at a merchant, or cash withdrawal over the counter at a bank or credit union, the most you can get combined is $1,000 per calendar day.
ATM owner-operators, merchants and participating banks may impose their own lower limits and fees on cash withdrawals. Varo Bank charges an ATM Withdrawal Fee of $3.00 for cash withdrawals at non-Allpoint® ATMs. You can still get cash with no fee at 40,000+ Allpoint ATMs in the U.S.
