Yes, there are two ways:
1. You can deposit cash into your Varo Bank Account when you check out at thousands of Green Dot Network ® locations nationwide, including Walmart, CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, 7-11, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Albertsons, Safeway, Kmart and Kroger.
2. You can deposit cash by purchasing a Green Dot MoneyPak ® at most of the same stores.
How do I deposit cash into my account?
If you want to make a deposit at the register:
Ask the cashier to add cash directly to your activated Varo Visa ® Debit Card when you’re checking out at a participating Green Dot location. Varo doesn’t charge a fee, but the store will charge a fee of up to $4.95.
If you want to deposit cash with a Green Dot MoneyPak:
1. Buy a MoneyPak at a participating Green Dot location and deposit $20–$500 in a single transaction. Varo doesn’t charge a fee, but the store will charge $5.95 for the MoneyPak. Create a Secure Login with your personal info at www.moneypak.com so Green Dot can verify your identity.
2. Enter your activated Varo Visa Debit Card number in your MoneyPak account, and that’s it! The amount on the MoneyPak will be deposited to your Varo Bank Account.

When will my cash deposit be ready in my account?
We’ll make the deposit available as soon as Green Dot sends it to us. Usually this takes about 10 minutes, but it can take up to an hour at some Green Dot locations.
How will I know when my cash is ready in my account?
Turn on push notifications to know when your cash hits your account.
How much cash can I deposit into my account?
You can deposit up to $1,000 per day with a maximum of $5,000 per month. However, certain Green Dot locations may have their own limits on how often or how much cash you can deposit to your Varo Bank Account. For further details, see the Varo Bank Account Agreement.
Can I deposit cash to my Varo Savings Account?
We can’t accept cash deposits directly into a Varo Savings Account, but you can deposit cash into your Varo Bank Account then transfer it to your Savings Account in the Varo app.
