Linking External Accounts

Plaid is a 3rd party provider that allows participating financial institutions to be linked securely using instant account verification. 

Link an external account by completing the following steps in the Varo app:

1. Tap My Varo > Manage cards and accounts > Linked cards and accounts > Accounts > Link an account.
2. Search for your external bank.
3. Enter your login credentials for your external account in the pop-up screen.
4. Follow any verification prompts.

After linking your external account, you can see it and the balance on the Varo app Home tab.

Link an External Card

You can also link an external debit card in the Varo app by completing the following steps:

1. Tap My Varo > Manage cards and accounts > Linked cards and accounts > Cards > Link a card.
2. Enter your debit card information.

Manage External Accounts

Resolve alerts and manage your linked cards and accounts by tapping My Varo > Manage cards and accounts > Linked cards and accounts.
