We can only accept refunds that match the name on your account. If you file a joint return with your spouse, we can accept the tax refund into your Varo Bank Account as long as your name appears as the primary or secondary filer on the return. The best way to ensure we can receive your tax refund is for you to be the primary filer on the return. This is because due to the IRS’s character limits on names, we can’t always see the name of a secondary filer. We can’t accept deposits to your account for other individuals besides someone with whom you filed a joint return.
