In the Varo Bank app, tap My Varo > Settings > Transactional Notifications and toggle the tab to the right to turn transactional notifications on.
What will I be notified about?
We’ll send a notification whenever:
- Your Varo Bank Visa® Debit Card is used for a purchase
- Your debit card is used for a cash withdrawal at an ATM or over-the-counter at a participating location
- You receive an external ACH deposit in your Varo Bank Account
- You submit a check via mobile deposit
- Your check funds are made available in your account
- You send or receive a Varo to Varo transfer
When are push notifications sent?
We’ll instantly and automatically send a push notification after there’s a transaction on your account.
How do I turn off push notifications?
My Varo > Settings > Transactional Notifications and toggle the tab to the left to turn transactional notifications off.
If you like push notifications about your account—but not all the time—you can adjust when you’re notified by using the Do Not Disturb feature.
On your iOS device:
- Tap Settings > Do Not Disturb
- Tap the Scheduled slider and specify a time

I'm not getting any push notifications.
Try this:
On your iOS device:
- Tap Settings > Notifications
- You’ll see a list of apps that support push notifications
- Tap Varo Bank to turn on notifications and choose your options
- Sounds, alerts and badges can all be managed individually
