You can apply for a Varo Bank Account in one of two ways:
- Download the Varo Bank app > tap Sign Up > follow the prompts to submit your application
- Go to www.varomoney.com > click Get Started > follow the prompts to submit your application
To apply you’ll need access to a device that can run our app and an active email account. Check out our system requirements for more information.
Have identity verification information handy and make sure you meet the following account requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (residing at a physical address) within the fifty (50) United States, and the District of Columbia.
- Must be 18+ years old.
- Only one checking account per customer. Customers may also apply for a Savings, Believe and/or Advance account.
- Accounts must be individually owned.
- Joint accounts, secondary debit cards, and business accounts aren't currently supported.
It may take up to 3 business days to receive a final decision once your application is submitted. After your Varo Bank Account is approved, you may apply for a Varo Advance and Varo Believe upon meeting qualifications.
