Varo takes identity theft seriously and will initiate an investigation if you find your information was fraudulently used to open a Varo account.
Asset verification requests*: fax us at (415) 737-1378
Asset verification requests like SSA/SSI or housing verifications must come directly from the person(s) requesting the verification. If you're a Varo customer, provide this fax number to the person requesting to verify your Varo account.
Estate services*: deceasedaccounts@varomoney.com
If you’re handling the estate of a Varo customer who is deceased, we can assist you after our verification process. A check of any remaining account balance will be sent to the Estate or Beneficiary once the account and information provided has been verified.
Guardianship or Conservator requests*: guardianship@varomoney.com
Power of Attorney requests*: poa@varomoney.com
Since Varo doesn't support accounts that require Power of Attorney, Guardianship, or Conservatorship, we'll work with the representing party and provide information about how to manage funds after account closure.
Law Enforcement Requests*: legalrequests@varomoney.com
For agencies serving Varo with Search Warrants, Freeze Orders, Seizures, Subpoenas, Grand Jury Subpoenas, and Civil Subpoenas.
