A provisional credit is a temporary credit which may be applied to your account during a dispute investigation if the transaction(s) qualifies. Not all transactions qualify for provisional credits and they do not affect the final outcome of the dispute investigation.
At the conclusion of your dispute, you’ll either receive a final credit by Varo or the merchant, or you’ll be responsible for the disputed transaction amount. If you received a provisional credit, you’ll receive notice of its reversal through email.
